Research Associate

M.Sc. Oguz Gürer

Since 2026, Oguz Gürer has been a research associate at the University of Duisburg-Essen, where he is a member of the research group on Generative AI in Software Engineering. Previously, he completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Information Systems at Paderborn University. During his studies, he worked as a research assistant at Fraunhofer IEM, where he was involved in research and development projects focusing on artificial intelligence for product development. His current research interests lie in the field of Generative Artificial Intelligence and its application in Software Engineering, particularly in the development of intelligent tools to support software development processes.
